The colors black and white might seem boring for your wedding… but think again! Black and white can be classic and modern. And if you like surface designs, black and white can be a great way to incorporate patterns into your wedding without being too bold and overwhelming. The tandem bicycle is a popular image being used in invitations. It is especially perfect for bike lovers. I recently designed a new tandem bicycle invitation (2nd image). I had a bride recently ask me to create a scrabble save the date card…. which got me thinking that a scrabble escort card would be a really great idea. Geometric prints are hot right now! They are so whimsical, bold, fresh, and modern. Different color combinations can really change the look and feel of the geometric print. Check out this triangle geometric wedding invitation I designed and an inspiration board that helped me make it.

This is a beautiful font that will look fantastic on your wedding invitations: Sudestada. I feel this font is classical with a modern twist, and also feels European. Very beautiful.
