Flourish Vintage Letterpress Invitation, with Cork Detail
A few weeks ago I printed this lovely vintage-inspired letterpress invitation. The local Greenville, SC customer wanted the invitation to look aged, with rustic touches. The couple is getting married in a mansion on the hills, with a vineyard setting. Check out more details on ordering this design in the Sofia Invitations Etsy Shop. The cream colored invitation was the final result, but I also made some samples using Crane 100% cotton white papers.
Letterpress Antique Wood Type
I love wood type for letterpress. It just has such impact, even before you print it. I generally do not print with wood type… mainly because it is so hard to get your hands on a full alphabet, but also because it’s not really practical for letterpress printing wedding invitations. But I can still admire it! Here are a few pics I took at the Asheville Bookworks in North Carolina.

Watercolor Bird Invitation
Happy Thursday everyone! It’s almost Friday, yay! In between my orders this week I have been working on a number of new designs. Here is one that I showed you before. This invitation features a watercolor bird and an aged background. I changed the format of the text and added a vine to the bottom to balance the composition.. Please check out the old version here.
