Myfonts.com recently sent out a newsletter announcing their most popular fonts from 2011. One of which (Reina) I posted about here. I also love the Alana font, another script font that was a top seller in 2011. Check it out at www.myfonts.com

The color combination or turquoise and red for a wedding or party is modern, clean, crisp, and fresh. It is certainly a perfect color combination to create a fun and energetic vibe. Perfect for a spring, summer, or winter wedding or party!

Hi everyone! I have not been posting as often because I am working very hard on some items that I plan to sell at a holiday fair this weekend at the West Gantt First Baptist Church in Greenville, South Carolina…… and I am finishing off some new wedding invitation suites to be photographed soon! On top of these tasks I also have a number of custom designs I am working on completing for clients. Please contact me anytime for custom designs, I love working one on one with couples to create awesome invitations for them!
Here is a sneek peak at two of my new invitations suites, more photos coming soon!

“Too often weddings are generic or become focused solely on the couple……But we are creative people, and our friends and family are the most important thing to both of us. We saw a real opportunity to do things differently, to express ourselves in the program and celebrate the talents of our community members.” -Jacqueline Schmidt
Jacqueline is an artist and David is the founder of Lucid Events in NYC. A unique and creative couple, it is only appropriate for the two to have an open invitation to their wedding with an event series included! Sounds like a wonderful time! They are having an accupuncturist speak, a teepee tent for guests to renew their vows, and a stationery area where guests can write love letters.
You can read more information here: http://acommunitylovestory.tumblr.com/press
Here is a picture of Jacqueline’s art, and the couple together:
The combination and turquoise and orange may be a bit more popular than using something like all nude colors… but I think this combination looks different every time you use it! Turquoise and orange is fitting for many different locations and seasons. Fall, summer, destination on a beach, or in an indoor setting… I hope these pictures inspire you!
